LAST DAY
was my last day of work yesterday... when i left taka square yest.. i felt extremely relieved... but kinda nostalgic at the same time... low pay and hard work aside, the experience is priceless (but as my cheeky colleague said, for everything else, there's mastercard.. argh! haha) my tolerance level has gone up several significant notches, that's for sure.. but after talking to chun yesterday, i realised that no matter what, everyone has their reasons for doing certain things... and despite certain unhappy incidents, i'm really proud that i still gave my 110% at work... and that, in itself, is enough for me.. one thing's for sure, managing a family business is a Herculean task.. guess that's why chun sort of empathises with my employer.. oh well.. no matter what, i am thankful for the job.. so... thank you...
on a lighter note, met up with my primary school frens.. went to the Big O in wheelock place.. boy.. i must say i've been away for too long... didn't know that nydc has a sister restaurant.. anyways, the dessert is superb and the mains are heavenly, though a tad bit pricey.. oh well, you want good food, be prepared to pay...
