15 PIECES OF ADVICE
01. Don't imagine you can change a man - unless he's in diapers.
02. What do you do if your boyfriend walks out? You shut the door.
03. If they put a man on the moon - they should be able to put them all up there.
04. Never let your man's mind wander - it's too little to be out alone.
05. Go for the younger man. You might as well - they never mature anyway.
06. Men are all the same - they just have different faces, so that you can tell them apart.
07. Definition of a bachelor: a man who has missed the opportunity to make some woman miserable.
08. Women don't make fools of men - most of them are the do-it-yourself types.
09. Best way to get a man to do something is to suggest he is too old for it.
10. Love is blind, but marriage is a real eye-opener.
11. If you want a committed man, look in a mental hospital.
12. The children of Israel wandered around the desert for 40 years. Even in Biblical times, men wouldn't ask for directions.
13. If he asks what sort of books you're interested in, tell him checkbooks.
14. Remember a sense of humor does not mean that you tell him jokes, it means that you laugh at his.

It has been certified.... I officially declare that med students have too many things to do and too little time. (disclaimer: I am not undermining the supremacy of other courses like LAW and ENGINEERING. I am just being whiny.) Since 6 weeks ago, after the unforgettable and rather traumatic introduction to the study of neuroscience, there hasn't been a day when I didn't feel guilty about having fun... What is wrong with me? Have I officially morphed into a nerd? Whenever I have some free time, all i can think of is" maybe i should read up on my lectures, maybe I should start on my assignment... blahblahblah" life is so exciting......
Oh well, on a lighter note, I went for Finding Nemo last night. Again. I love that movie!!! The more i watch it, the more I find the Aussie accent absolutely adorable. I wanna learn how to talk to a whale too. How I wish I can get the chance to work with the guys at PIXAR and DISNEY... Those guys should be given a Nobel Prize. And NOT Mr. Neuroscience Kandel. alright alright, I'm kinda feeling a bit guilty abt bad-mouthing Mr. kandel, author of my neuroscience textbk. okok.. sorry... I really didn't mean what I just said.
meaningful quote of the day, sponsered by nec " Some discoveries are like solutions waiting for a problem" --some Nobel Prize Winner.
Back to my assignment.

am having too much fun reading adrian's blog, so i decided to start one of my own. realise it's not a very easy process...i'm not exactly a very computer literate person... so stuff like choosing the fonts and changing the colour of the background baffle me.... and i have enough doubts abt neuroscience swimming in my head as it is....although after spending half an hour on this, i did make some significant discoveries:
* am more computer illiterate than i thought
* it's scary how addictive this is
* i have been brainwashed. the contents of my brain consist of only facts about our gastrointestinal system,
cardiovascular system, neuroscience blahblahblah... can't even think of a proper quote to make me appear
intellectual
* can't remember the last time i wrote something non-med. shocking.
ok.... i should really get back to work... really shouldn't stuff up my test tom...
