FARNHAM MANIA
john farnham is a genius... he's such an amazing singer... i can't believe that i didn't appreciate him till now!!! songs like "your voice", "raindrops keep falling on my head" and " we will rock you"... sigh... some pple just have the gift.. bought my daddy the collection of his best hits... i just know that he'll like it so much! ah!!!!!!!!! yeah!!!!!!
had our annual college christmas party last wed... yesyes.. i know u guys will be saying:"a xmas party???? at this time of the year?" " is this the one with the nudie run?" and guys... it's yes to all.. haha... we even had a santa to give out our presents. everyone was decked out in red attire... and cute santa hats... almost feels like xmas... it's amazing how the main lead in all aussie parties is....... BOOZE.... even though i've been here for two years already, the amount that aussies can drink never cease to amaze me... but hey, some alcohol is fun, just ask yuhua! ;)
last friday was the last day of school of my 4th semester in med sch... it's really incredible how fast time flies.... i know i should be happy and all... but i feel a sense of loss... time is slipping away too fast... like powder-fine sand through my fingers... i can't control it... i wanna do more with my life.... not just study...
had steamboat with yoda and all my frens today.. cos.... it's yoda's bdae! HAPPY 17TH BDAE YODA!!!!! wish i am still seventeen too.... hang on , maybe not, 18 would be better... ah well.. no time for regrets... we always tend to wish that we could have done this, achieved that; be that little bit nicer, that tad bit wiser.... but the truth is, we'll never be satisfied.. that's human nature... but it's not a bad thing.. this thirst for excellence and fulfilment is a powerful force... it's the main thing that keeps us going, keeps us yearning for more knowledge; it's the drive that helps us to maintain our perseverence and determination, and to feel that life is worth living for... so here';s a toast to life, and to all who care to live..
